When cutting steel cable or wire rope then our cutters would be the perfect tool to use.

Our Wire Rope Snips have extremely sharp and powerful blades that have been drop forged before being high-frequency treated, this process ensures that the blades are extremely strong and durable. The handles have been coated in rubber to ensure a firm comfortable grip and they are spring loaded for ease of use. They also have a locking mechanism to ensure that they stay in the closed position when not in use for safety.

These cutters can easily cut through steel cable and wire rope up to 5MM thick without causing any damage to the cut faces, this is a necessity when cutting wire rope for rigging purposes or when the wire rope needs to be threaded through a tight gap, e.g. crimp/ferrule.

These are used in any industry were it may be necessary to cut wire rope including the marine, aircraft and fencing industries. They are perfect for all types of steel cable, wire rope and springs including bowden cables.
