Spare Jockey Wheels

Spare jockey wheels are the replacement wheels that are simply attached to the main body of a jockey wheel that then attaches to the front / tongue of a trailer, we have one of the widest ranges of spare jockey wheels and replacement jockey wheels available in the UK.

Our spare jockey wheels can be used with trailers and caravans, we supply a range of medium replacement load jockey wheels that can be suitable for use with trailers with two axles and heavy duty spare jockey wheels that can be used with many larger commercial trailers and vehicles.

When should I replace my jockey wheel?

A jockey wheel should be replaced when the tyre is low or even damaged, given that a Jockey wheel is used to stabilize the trailer when it is not being towed it is very important for the user to have complete control of the trailer. When your trailer is unhitched, a good jockey wheel should keep the trailer level and also steady to provide the needed stability when you are loading or unloading your trailer. 

A good jockey wheel will also level the trailer or caravan so they help with the hitching or unhitching, the jockey wheel shall also allow them to be manoeuvred without the use of a towing vehicle.

Some of our replacement jockey wheels are zinc plated in order to prevent the occurrence of rust and corrosion. Some of our spare jockey wheels are also available in a plastic solution.
