Our 88mm open end snap is usually attached to chain with the open end and is then bent closed. It is made from stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. These stainless steel snaps are ideal for various marine applications, playgrounds, athletic equipment or as a safety device.

The open end can be bent closed by either a hammer or a clamping device. On the opposite side is a sprung loaded slide catch that can be attached where needed.
