3 legs are better than 2

Aiming for a roof mountable rigid fishing kayak at the top end of the weight scale 85lbs I felt that I needed a 3 leg/sucker pad design of roller to really spread the nose weight at the start and end of the loading process. This is the only brand I found offering this option. General production values are quite good, although the assembly and quality control could be improved as I've noticed two issues with it right off the bat.

1) The rivets used on the end of the 2 outside arms - 1 has been screwed up on fitting. Whilst not critical, it's frustrating when it's such a fundamentally simple task.

2) The stiffness of the foam used on the rollers seems a bit soft for the intended purpose which may add to the force needed to roll my kayak up and onto the vehicle roof bars. In addition it isn't securely affixed to the plastic tube of the actual rollers underneath. Time will tell I guess. Generally I'm pleased and feel reasonably confident they will do the job on a heavier fishing kayak. Value for money, faults not withstanding, pretty good. Pleased with my purchase, yes.
