Jockey Wheels
Jockey wheels are usually small, portable wheels that are attached to the tongue / front of a trailer and we have one of the largest ranges of jockey wheels available in the UK.
Our jockey wheels can be used with caravans and trailers, we supply medium load jockey wheels that can be suitable for use with trailers with two axles and heavy duty jockey wheels that can be used with heavy commercial trailers and vehicles.
What does a jockey wheel do?
Jockey wheels are used to stabilize the trailer when it is not being towed so allowing the user to have complete control of the trailer. When your trailer is unhitched, a jockey wheel should keep the trailer level as well as steady and provide the required stability when you are loading or unloading your trailer.
A jockey wheel will level the trailer or caravan so they help with the hitching or unhitching, the jockey wheel shall allow them to be manoeuvred without the use of a towing vehicle.
Some of our jockey wheels are zinc plated to prevent the occurrence of rust and corrosion. Some of our jockey wheels also come with clamps included, and these clamps are used for holding the jockey wheels and prop stands on the side of trailers.
