This tool is used for crimping sleeves onto stainless steel wire rope for all rigging purposes and unlike many other versions this is built to a heavier standard and is capable of handling standard and heavy duty sleeves. This tool has five different cut outs with markings to indicate the appropriate sized sleeve to use with each cut out. Either side of the tool is a cable/wire cutter that will cut up to 5MM. The crimping tool has rubber grip handles for easier and safer use.
The powerful snap action with the last thrust of the jaws will ensure a tight, clean crimp everytime. This tool will make it easier for compressing sleeves on cable.
This crimping tool should only be used with heavy duty double barrel crimp sleeves/ferrules and is not designed for use with oval section sleeves/ferrules. For stainless steel wire rope only copper sleeves should be used.
