Our wire rope cutters are made from high quality materials with rubber handles to help and increase grip while using the wire rope cutter. The blade is made of a special material which is then drop-forged and high-frequency treated. These are sharp cutting tools for even thin wires without spreading cutting-faces.

These wire rope cutters will compress the cable while cutting to ensure the cable doesnt splay out to ensure a neat and tidy cut. This is a necessity when cutting wire rope for rigging purposes and when the wire rope needs to be threaded through a tight gap, e.g. crimp/ferrule. These are used largely in the aircraft industry for use with bowden cables.

These wire rope cutters come with a locking mechanism to keep the cutters closed when not in use and a spring to make it easier when cutting mutiple lengths.
