Our wire rope grips are perfect for use with wire rope when being used aboard boats, public areas, yacht rigging and many more. These wire rope grips are made from 316 grade stainless steel giving them a flawless finish and excellent properties for resisting rust. The main use of wire rope grips are for creating loops in wire rope.
Notes On Assembly And Use
1 - Prior To Fitting, The Threads On The Nuts And Bolts Should Be Well Greased.
2 - Spacing Between The Grips Should Be At Least 6 Times The Diameter Of The Rope.
3 - Ensure The Grip Is Always Orientated Correctly, The 'U' Bolt Should Placed On The Unloaded End Of The Rope.
4 - Tighten Each Nut Evenly And In Turn To Achieve The Recommended Torque Settings.
5 - Leave Unused For 24 Hours And Check Torque Setting Again, Re-Tighten If Necessary.
6 - After First Application Of The Load, Re-Check Torque Setting, Re-Tighten If Necessary.
7 - During Service Periodically Check The Torque Setting.
